How Real Is Reality, Really?

That’s it for press articles. AI can do it itself now.
After a longer break, it would actually be time for another press article.
And this article has a somewhat thankless task: it is meant to be both my newest and my last.
Why?
Because the world of writing, researching, and publishing has changed fundamentally over the past few years.
In the past, writing a specialist article meant thinking of a topic, researching it, finding sources, drafting and revising the text, finding a suitable image, and eventually publishing the whole thing.
Today, the short version is roughly:
“AI, please write me a current article about recruiting.”
A few seconds later, the first draft is on the table.
That is practical. Very practical, in fact.
But that is precisely why I will no longer regularly produce supposedly up-to-the-minute HR wisdom here—wisdom that, in all likelihood, would have been created with the friendly assistance of artificial intelligence anyway.
Anyone who wants to know which recruiting trends are currently being discussed, what is happening in active sourcing, or what the latest findings are on employee retention, leadership, or professional development can research all of this themselves within a few minutes today. And, if they wish, have an AI create a summary, a list of pros and cons, and a presentation at the same time.
What AI still cannot replace so easily, however, is practical experience.
And that is exactly what I prefer to focus on.
On specific companies. Specific people. Specific HR questions. And solutions that not only look good on a screen but actually work in everyday business life.
Therefore, my great career as a regular press-article author officially ends here.
As a farewell, I let AI have another go, by the way.
It helped with this text. (Author’s note: not true—this is a completely AI-generated text; only the headline is mine!)
Consistency is important, after all. 😉
